Burton Constable is one of the most fascinating English country houses to survive complete with its historic collections.

Visit the Hall's many grand rooms crammed with fine and decorative art, furniture and country house paraphernalia, and discover a remarkable eighteenth-century Cabinet of Curiosities full of weird and wonderful objects from around the globe.

Our team of friendly House Guides are always on hand to answer questions and help you get the most from your visit.

Stretch your legs and make the most of being in the great outdoors, with five trails to choose from you will enjoy glorious views and wonderful wildlife.

Keep your eyes peeled throughout the seasons to watch the landscape change and different wildlife and flowers appear.  Be it buzzards swooping through the trees, swans sailing on the lakes or brown hares running free, there's plenty to see all year round.

The Grounds, Stables, Stables Kitchen & Gift Shop are open daily 10am-4pm (excluding Xmas Day, Boxing Day, and 27th December). We're even open on New Year's Day! 

The Hall is open from 23rd March 2024 to 3rd November 2024

Christmas Opening

23rd November to 18th December - open daily 11am to 4pm (last admission 3pm)

The Grounds, Gift Shop and Stables kitchen are open daily from 10am-5pm and the Hall is open Tuesday to Sunday and is also open on Bank Holiday Mondays and Mondays during school holidays.
