Cobwebs and Cream Teas at Christmas
Join us for an exclusive 'Behind the Scenes' tour of the Hall led by one of our expert guides and discover the cellars, attics, rooftops and everything else in-between!
The tour involves steep spiral staircases and some areas haven’t been used for many years
The ticket also includes access to our Grounds & Stables from 10am, plus a self-guided walk round the Hall to see Christmas Eve in the 1850's through the eyes of Mrs Styche, Head Housekeeper
This will be followed by a Cream Tea served from the Stables Kitchen at 2.45pm.
Places on the tour are limited to 16 people and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Please notify us of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking.
Schedule:.
- Arrive at your leisure from 10am onwards
- 11:00am onwards - entry into the hall for your self - guided tour
- 1:00pm - Cobwebs and Cream Teas tour starts in the Great Hall
- 2.45pm - Cream Tea served in the Stables Kitchen
